The Main Street development will add 95 low-carbon and beautiful purpose-built rental homes along Main Street North in Uxbridge, edging on the historic downtown and close to many amenities.
The site sits on the boundary of the Uxbridge Downtown Revitalization Project, across from the planned “Town Square” and will contribute to a vibrant, renewed downtown. New pedestrian pathways connecting Main Street and First Avenue are included in the design.
With a considerate, people-focused design, a commitment to responsibility across every action, and a location with both a vibrant history and a bright future, the Trinity development will be a place that enables everyone – new residents, the existing community, and the wider neighbourhood – to unlock new opportunities.
Sustainability features include:
- High-efficiency, all-electric mechanical systems
- No fossil fuels are combusted on site, reducing Scope 1 emissions to ZERO, a 100% reduction.
- Passive building systems, including well-insulated building envelopes and rigorous airtightness measures, result in efficient buildings with reduced energy consumption from the power grid, consequently reducing Scope 2 emissions.
- On-site renewable energy production, such as solar PV panels, further reduces electricity consumption and consequent Scope 2 emissions by an overall 89%.
- Careful selection of low-embodied carbon building materials like the building’s hybrid mass timber structure reduces Scope 3 emissions by 49%.
- EV charging
15-23 Main Street’s unique proximity to the revitalized downtown makes it a great place to combine access to a vibrant main street core without adding to one’s carbon footprint.
