360 Kennedy Lane adds 79 low-carbon new rental homes and revitalizes existing community space.  

The design includes a series of eight blocks of two-storey townhouses and three-storey walk-up apartments, embraces low-carbon, energy efficient building practices and is sympathetic to the landscape of the surrounding neighbourhood.  

New community gardens and outdoor gathering spaces enhance the green space, complete with new trees and native species.

Additional features include secure bicycle parking, EV charging, and onsite stormwater management systems. 

360 Kennedy will be beautiful, sustainable and resilient through the use of features aimed at reducing energy demands, energy costs and improving comfort.  

Sustainability features include:

  • High-efficiency, all-electric mechanical system utilizing heat pumps and energy recovery ventilation. 
  • No fossil fuels are combusted on site, reducing Scope 1 emissions to ZERO, a 100% reduction. 
  • Well-insulated building envelope and rigorous airtightness measures, result in efficient buildings with reduced energy consumption from the power grid, consequently reducing Scope 2 emissions. 
  • On-site renewable energy production via solar PV panels, can provide 100% of yearly energy needs further reduces electricity consumption and consequent Scope 2 emissions by an overall 100%. 
  • Careful section of low-embodied carbon building materials, including light wood framing and low-GWP insulation, reduces Scope 3 emissions by 67%. 
  • EV charging 

360 Kennedy will add 79 beautiful and sustainable rental homes to the community of Orléans, Ottawa while integrating with the existing neighbourhood, including the adjacent Queenswood Ridge Park.
