50 Newport Crescent is a four-storey low-carbon apartment building and five two-storey townhouses along Millidge Avenue. Located in the Millidgeville neighbourhood, the property is close to numerous recreational opportunities including Rockwood Park.

The 95 beautiful new rental homes and landscaped gardens are adjacent to existing community space, enhancing the neighbourhood of Millidgeville.

Greenspaces include a boardwalk, playground, pond, and a pavilion, all of which will feature native plants, and permeable landscaping providing responsible stormwater management and supporting local biodiversity.

50 Newport Crescent is designed for the 2050 climate leading to comfort, resiliency and low-energy costs for those making this their home.

tainability features include:

  • High-efficiency, all-electric mechanical systems.
  • No fossil fuels are combusted on site, reducing Scope 1 emissions to ZERO, a 100% reduction.
  • Passive building systems, including well-insulated building envelopes and rigorous airtightness measures, result in efficient buildings with reduced energy consumption from the power grid, consequently reducing Scope 2 emissions.
  • On-site renewable energy production, such as solar PV panels, further reduces electricity consumption and consequent Scope 2 emissions by an overall 74%.
  • Extensive use of low-embodied carbon building materials like the building’s hybrid mass timber structure reduces Scope 3 emissions by 49%.
  • EV charging

Homes at 50 Newport Crescent contribute a unique mix of apartments and townhouses that are designed to support a quality of life for residents. The project is within walkable distance of transit, schools, shopping and key public amenities.
